Happy Fourth of July One and All!

Hi everyone! I was planning on taking a little time off this week for some much needed R & R so I wanted to pop in and wish you all a very happy Fourth of July.
It may be more of a party day to most of us, but it's real meaning has a lot to do with our freedoms which we all probably take a little too much for granted. I mean, where else but in America can a cat have his own website.
As I sit here typing this I am reminded of how many people have suffered and died for our freedoms and while I am completely against this ridiculous war that we have going on, I am still proud of all of the Americans who are giving with their all to do their duty. It's not that I want terror mind you, it's just that the idiot President has no clue as to what he is doing and this war is about oil and revenge, period. If it wasn't it would be over by now because we would have fought to win instead of doggy-footing around over there.
Anyway that is my opinion so take it for what it is worth. But remember those who have given so much so that we may each have and express our opinions without recrimination or fear.
Happy Fourth of July everyone!

The Red Ass

You know what really gives me the red ass? It's when we get fed early one day or at one feeding and then we are expected just to fall into line the next day or feeding. Example; Saturday morning we were fed at the normal time of around 6:00 am. Amy then fed us at 1:00 pm since mom and dad were gone swimming. Well when 2:00 am rolled around we were starving but did we get fed? Hell no (sorry about the cursing, but it irks me). We did get fed about 5:00 but then we were hungry way before our normal 4:00 o'clock feeding so I got ornery and started knocking my bowl to the ground and apparently I incurred a 15 minute penalty. 5 minutes for each infraction. Mom and dad were leaving before 4:00 so we did get fed early, but dad is saying the penalty roll over until today. We'll see about that.
Im sorry, but it just really pisses me off that they think they can play with our feeding times and then be mad when we run amok at night.

The State of Television

You know, as a cat my life is pretty much centered around the house. I like to sleep in the front window sill or in bed most of the day, but at times I like to watch a little television and I can tell you, for the most parts, there ain't shit on!
I mean, we have like a million channels, including Animal Planet and TV Land but there just usually isn't anything worth watching. Animal Planet is in love with flippin' monkeys and fish so it's hardly worth watching. Lucy and MASH seem to dominate TV Land and there just aren't any good movies anymore it doesn't seem. Dad has me hooked on the old classics, but unless they are on TMC they aren't worth watching. AMC has more commercials than a NASCAR race!
When are they going to put the Cat Channel on?

Roo Lectures On Laundry

Meow everyone!

Today I'd like to talk to you a little bit about "the laundry". I know, I know it's not everyone's favorite subject, but it is all something we can relate to. Above you can see me pictured on top of a freshly done load of clothes feeling pretty good about myself for getting them done. Now of course those aren't all my clothes as I am a cat and usually just wear my fur coat.

Anyway, I have been doing some studies on the best detergents as well as the accoutrements that go with doing laundry and have come up with what I think is your best bet for getting your clothes their cleanest without doing damage to the fabrics you have probably invested so much in.

In my estimation Tide Detergents are the best with their Mountain Spring being my favorite. They come out cleaner than other detergents and always have that fresh Tide aroma. As for fabric softeners I have to go with Downey's Ultra Downey in any fragrance. I find it much less stressful on your clothes than their dryer sheets. I also reccomend the Downy ball which somehow knows just when to release the softener. If you are lazy like me you usually will miss the rinse cycle and have to run it again. With the Downey ball you drop it in at the beginning of the wash cycle and you are good to go. If you would like more information about these products click on the links pictures below:

Of course, beign a cat doesn't allow me much opportunity to bring you these consumer reports, but I hope you will find them useful!

Have a great day and go get that laundry started!

Lazy Days

Hi everyone!
It's been nice having mom, dad and Amy home. I acted a little put out when they got in, but I warmed up quickly. Nothing really new going on here, jut wanted to pop in and say hey!
I've been trying to be good, but I did get in trouble once last week for peeing on the floor. I didn't even do it, but I guess I looked guilty so I got blamed. besides, they put some cheapo lining in the box and it's easy to miss.
Well that's about it for now. All of this typing has made me dizzy so I better go back in the window sill and rest up.
Peace to all!

Dolts!

Who do they think they are kidding? I mean come on, you can not expect me to be good when you just leave the temptations sitting right out in front of me! Mom pulled a good one. She had her friend Ginny come over and feed us. Well she only came over once a day and not at all on Thursday. We were fed before mom and dad left but it wasn't enough.
Mom however left the food canister on the counter where I could get to it. I knew it was there before they left, but I figurd they'd move it based on my track record of late. But I hopped up there Saturday morning and lo and behold, the canister was not only there, but the lid fell right off when I nosed it. Needless to say I helped myself to an "all Roo can eat buffet" of Meow Mix! My belly feels like it is going to pop. Mom and dad will be mad at me when they get home but who cares! I am loving it! I can't believe they trusted me!
