Well mom and dad are off to Florida tonight. Me and Misses Hiney are going to tough it out here at the house I guess. Mom's friend Ginny is heading over to feed us. Now I like Ginny and all, btu she only comes over once a day and feeds us and I don't think she really likes me anyway. I get oh so hungy having to wait 24 hours between feedings. Misses Hiney has it even worse since she is such a piglet and since I steal her food. I was hoping the "All-Roo-Can-Eat" buffet would be in place while they are gone, but I heard mom say she couldn't trust me. I am so sure, I am a good cat and am not mean or evil.
Since they are leaving me behind while they have fun in the sun I hope they have a flat tire on the way. I guess maybe I am a little mean!

Box Cat
Sitting in a box may not be every cat's idea of heaven, but you all should try it some time. If you find the right box, and these Avon boxes or paper boxes are purr-fect for me, you feel so safe and snug in them.
Gotta run for now. Have a great day and go out and find that box!

The NFL (No, not the National Feline League!)
Hi all,
Well it's August and I am feeling a little better thank you very much! The end of summer may well be upon us, but one thing that means is that football season is right around the corner. It's hard not to jump on the Colts bandwagon what with all of the excitement over their big win in the Super Bowl, but frankly, horses are big and thye scare me a little.
So who do I like for the 2007-08 season? Let's take a look see. Mind you, these are pre-preseason picks and as the next few weeks go by, I am sure there will me some adjustments to be made.
There are three teams that really intrigue me this year. The Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars and the the Detroit Lions. The Panthers were in the big show just a few short years ago and with their talent I see no reason they can't return this season. The Jaguars have been knocking on the door for a few years now and they look poised to pounce on that division championship and ride on in to the post season. The Lions may not be the "sexy" pick, but this young team has been retooling and is ready to make a move in footballs worst division.
So keep an eye out for these teams and I'll report back in after a couple of preseason games.
Peace!
