Me v. Misses Hiney

And as usual, I lose! Dad keeps telling me that Misses Hiney can kick my ass, but every once in a while I have to try. He just laughs at me and tells me it reminds him of Scott and Schubach back in the day, whatever the hell that means. Thanks to dad and his camera we have some shots of the action:

Here is Misses Hiney relaxing in her favorite spot.

Here I am contemplating taking a shot at Misses Hiney.

Here I am after getting all jacked up on caffeine.
Dad Said I looked like Pete Townshend in the Eminence Front video.
Again, I have no idea what the hell that means.

Me taking a shot at Misses Hiney and her clobbering me.

Misses Hiney finishing me off.

Your humbled host. Vanquished just like dad said
I'd be. One of these days I'll get her. When dad
said I was getting in fighting trim I don't think
he meant me fighting Misses Hiney.

I was banished to the other room where I assumed my Colts Cheerleader pose.

Rainy Days or More Accurate, Fall Sucks!

There is one thing me and dad agree on, the only good thing about Autumn is football. Other than that it signals the end of Summer, is a prelude to winter and the weather generally sucks out loud!
This morning I was sitting in the window and it was pouring down rain. I got so depressed I just went back to bed. Now a rainy day doesn't usually get me down, but as we round into Fall I know we are in for many more days like these. Summer just seemed to go so fast.
Well I was hoping that by writing this maybe the rain would go away, but as I just checked it was raining CATS and dogs.
I guess I'll head back into bed and wait until mom gets home to feed me and see if my mood has improved.
Buh-bye!

Week 3

Hi all and welcome to my Monday morning wrap up of the cat teams in the NFL. Well it may have been expected, but the way it happened scares me. The Lions took a beatdown at the hands of the Eagles. I guess in this case the brid was more powerful. The Lions scored points, just not enough as the Eagles scored a lot.

The other cats did much better. In Denver my Jaguars beat the Bronco's. A nice win in what is a pretty tough place to play. Go Jags!

In Atlanta the Panthers beat the lowly Falcons. The Falcons are suffering because of Michael Vick's absence. I'm sure, he was only dog fighting. Dogs are stupid anyway! Cat's rule the earth and in Atlanta yesterday, cats ruled birds as well!

Well that's it for football. Nothing new going on with me. I did get some treats over the weekend so I'm pretty happy. I also got fed three times on Saturday. I rock!

Love to all!

TGIF

Hi everyone and a big Happy Friday to all you working folk out there. It looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend for this, the first weekend of Autumn. I'd really like to go out in the yard and play a little, but mom and dad don't let me go out since I have had my front claws removed. I guess that is good because it scares me to even think how mean I'd be if I had them!
Nah, I'll probably just be hanging out in the window or on one of dads shirts on his dresser. Maybe I'll get some treats if I am nice or even some catnip (although dad does not like me doing the nip).
Speaking of dad, I really gave him and earful this morning. You know, he gets up at 5 or just before and then instead of feeding me he takes a shower and then feeds me. Why doesn't he just make things easier for everyone and just feed me first? He thinks he's such a badass about feeding me, but I know he's a pushover in the long run.
Well I'm going to get out of here for now and take a little catnap, perhaps in my box. Have a great day and enjoy your weekend!

Sorry!

Dad's pretty pissed at me for calling him retarded and has sworn vengeance. Well he can bark all day long and I know he won't bite. He is full of hot air it's a wonder he doesn't explode. I will step up my campaign for more food and I wil be keeping the pressure on that bonehead.
Love you dad!

My Cat's

As you can tell I am somewhat of a football fan. Not college so much but the Cat teams in the NFL. So how are my guys doing after a couple of weeks? Just so-so, but it is early.

Let's start with the Lions. Wow! 2-0 start has to be encouraging. They beat the hated Raiders and the wimpy Vikings. Sure it's not much to brag about, but it doesn't suck.

That Jaguars got off to a rocky start against the stupid Titans but bounced back against a crappy Falcon team. Just goes to show you that in cat v. bird games the bird just can't win.

The Panthers are 1-1, but on top of their POS division. They beat the Rams in St. Louis last week but lost at home to the Texans this week. Looks like cats beat almost any animal except man.

That's about it for now. I am getting hungry and I know it is a long time until I get fed so I better lay down before I get dizzy.

Love you all!

Yabba Dabba Doo?

Alright, dad has been walking around the house singing "Yabba dabba doo and puparoo-roo too" or "Yabba dabba doo and puparoo-roo-roo" (Mom started the Puparoo-roo-roo thing). What the hell is Yabba dabba doo? What does it have to do with me?

On top of that he was watching Jawbreaker the other day (excellent movie with the delightful Juli Benz) and now he has been singing "Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to Roo, if he is young at heart".

I swear dad is so retarded some times.

They're Back!

Mom and dad got home late last night or I guess early this morning. They rolled in about 3:30am and as usual I was there ready to be fed and then to give them the cold shoulder for leaving me behind. And not only did they leave me behind and only having me fed once a day, they had some guy come in and work on the bathroom floor. He was banging around in there and scaring the living daylights out of me and Misses Hiney (You can't stop me Suzi!).

I am already plotting what I am going to do next time they leave, and they will I am sure. If any of you kind readers have any ideas for me, please pass them on. This is going to get ugly.

More NFL

Hi gang,
Well the preseason is over and it is time for some real football! My teams finished the preseason with a mixed bag of results. The Panthers were a sorry 1-3, the Lions an ecouraging 2-2 (a beatdown at the hands of the Colts notwithstanding) and the Jaguars were a nice 3-1. Are these numbers an indication of the season to come for these wonderful cat teams? Who knows, but I have some thoughts.

The poor Lions have been so bad for so long that it seems only fair that they would have to improve. They are in a crappy division with the stinky Bears, Packers and Vikings so they may have a legit shot at the title. Of course they must be awfully managed to have been as bad as they have been over the years, but hopefully they will begin to see the light with some new players.

The Panthers are only a few years removed from the Super Bowl but have been pretty mediocre since their appearance. This season is an enigma going in. Sure they have Steve Smith the outstanding wideout but little else unless Jake Delhomme comes to play. Again, they are in a crap division so anything can happen.

I am taking a lot of flack around the house for liking the Jaguars, but I can't help it. I'm pretty sure they will be able to beat the Colts this year for the division and that will probably get me in more hot water. Dad calls their QB Gary Coleman. I don't know what that means, but it probably isn't good. He's just jealous of a great team.

Finally some other cats have asked why I am not a Bengals fan. Well quite simply they are just a bunch of losers and thugs and even I can't stand that Chad Johnson. Sure they may be a great offensive team, but to me, they are just offensive period.

Gotta run. I'll check back in after a couple of games and see how the Cat's are doing!

Peace all!
